The Hasbro FurReal Friends Butterscotch Pony is a miniature Shetland pony. She is over three feet tall which is big enough so kids can sit on her for a pretend pony ride. Butterscotch is recommended for children ages 4 through 10. She has a mane and fur coat that feel soft to the touch. All over her body she has built-in sensors that respond to a child in lifelike ways. She will cock her head when spoken to and even blink her eyes.
When a child pets her, Butterscotch will actually rub her head against them, swish her tail and her ears will twitch. She also neighs and whinnys like a real pony does. If the room becomes dark she will whimper looking for a hug to let her know she is safe.
Children can use the brush that comes with Butterscotch to groom her and give her a special carrot to munch on. They can hold the carrot up to her face and she will open up her mouth for it or she may shake her head to say "no" she doesn't want any more. She also comes with a halter and a special adoption certificate. All this makes Butterscotch a great little pony for any child.
